How do I remove the protective shield?

There's a soft bonus layer under the lid — it can sometimes stick to the film. For a clean removal: store in a cool place, or pop the jar in the fridge before first use. Cold makes the top layer firmer and the shield peels right off. If a little product comes with it — no worries, just use it as normal.
How long does one jar last?

75g — about 3–4 months of daily use. (Heads up: there's a bonus layer under the protective shield that sometimes comes off with it — still 100% usable.)
Will it leave marks on clothes?

Nope. Apply a thin layer and you're good. The zinc and magnesium formula doesn't leave white streaks or clog fabric.
